Inspired by @thepioneerwoman, these pizza rolls are a savory twist on the classic cinnamon roll. Pizza dough is filled with marinara, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, Parmesan, mozzarella, and mini pepperoni, then rolled and sliced like cinnamon rolls, baked until golden brown in an olive oil and seasoning mixture.

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Roll dough on a floured surface into a ~10” by ~14” rectangle.
3. Add your marinara (leave a border on the long edges of the rectangle but take sauce and toppings all the way to the side on the shorter edges), garlic powder, Italian seasoning, Parmesan, mozzarella, and mini pepperoni.
4. Roll up the long edge to create a 14" log and pinch to seal; wrap a piece of dental floss around the log and pull to cut ~1" rounds.
5. Coat the bottom of a skillet or baking dish in oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt and place the pizza rolls in the dish; add some more pepperoni and parm on top.
6. Bake 22-27 mins until golden brown and enjoy!

Vegan Modification: Sub in vegan cheese and leave out the pepperoni.
