A simple yet delicious recipe for garlic bread, featuring a soft baguette, a savory butter-garlic-parsley spread, and Parmesan cheese, baked until golden and crispy.
1. Preheat oven to 425F (220C). Slice the baguette in half lengthwise, as you would for a sandwich. Place the cut sides up on a baking sheet. (If the baguette is too long, you can cut it down the middle to create four pieces).
2. In a small bowl, mix together the room temperature or slightly softened butter, minced garlic, and minced fresh parsley. Spread this mixture evenly onto the cut sides of the bread.
3. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the butter mixture.
4. Bake for 9-12 minutes, or until the edges of the bread are golden brown and crisped.
5. Remove from oven, cut into individual pieces, and serve immediately while hot.
